Artist Quick Details

• Open to local and regional artists of all ages — no minimum age requirement.
• Submit up to 2 original works in painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, textile/fiber art or mixed media.

• Artists set their own starting bid and receive 70% of the final winning bid.
• Bidding begins online; final bids are accepted in person only at the Chamber Awards Dinner on October 1.

The Tamaqua Arts Center and Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce are partnering to present a Silent Art Auction in conjunction with the Chamber’s Annual Awards Dinner on October 1, 2026. Local and regional artists are invited to submit up to two original works in a variety of mediums, including painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, textile and fiber art, and mixed media. There is no minimum age to participate. Artists will establish the starting bid for each submitted piece. Bidding will begin online prior to the event, with final bids accepted in person only at the Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Dinner. Proceeds from each winning bid will be distributed as follows: 70% to the artist, 15% to the Tamaqua Arts Center and 15% to the Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce.

All artwork must be original and framed or otherwise ready to display. Each submission should include the title of the artwork, a short artist biography, an artist headshot, medium and dimensions, and the artist-established starting bid. The deadline to submit artwork is September 6, 2026. Artwork may be dropped off at the Tamaqua Arts Center, 125 Pine Street, Tamaqua, PA.

Submitting artwork does not guarantee a sale, and artwork receiving no bids will be returned to the artist. A completed W-9 form is required before payment can be issued for sold artwork. Submission of artwork does not include admission to the Chamber’s Annual Awards Dinner; artists wishing to attend are responsible for purchasing their own ticket.
